One of the bombs went off at a funeral in Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, killing about 10 and leaving more than 30 wounded.

Another two bombs hit Shiite pilgrims in Hilla, the capital of Babil province, south of Baghdad where over 10 people died and more than 70 were injured.

The pilgrims were traveling to Kerbala to mourn the killing of Imam Hussein, the Prophet Muhammad"s grandson, in 680AD.

One more bomb killed several pilgrims and wounded ten others in a southern Baghdad neighborhood.

Terrorist attacks occur in Iraq rather often. The deadliest one ever took place in 2007, when suicide bombings in northern Iraq killed 237 people and injured over 300.
